Window Well and Drain Installation.

When a window lies below or very near the earth's surface, window wells are typically installed. They are put in place to direct water away from windows. Water pressure along the window frame might result in moderate to severe leaks into the basement when the water does not drain quickly enough. These issues can be solved by using a suitable window well drainage system as a foundation waterproofing technique.

The drainage system is made up of more than just a well; the entire system entails laying up steps so that water is drained away from the window, through spotless crushed gravel, to the geotextile-wrapped weeping tile, and then either directly into a sump pit or a storm drain.
